Please give me your thoughts and ideas about how you want sttos_stills run! What types of challenges, the rotations of challenges, etc etc etc. I want thoughts on anything and everything! I don't want to run the challenge as a complete mirror of my other comm, so please drop off thoughts! :D

Popping over re: the Harry Mudd challenge: because of this time of year being so extremely busy (and my life being a bit out of control for several months now, anyway), I'm not participating in challenges that I can't meet using screencaps I already have saved to my hard drive and using characters I love. It just takes too much time to sift through trek_core's images for new caps, for one, and if I don't love the characters (mainly Kirk, Spock, and McCoy) then I just don't make the time to make icons of them that I'll never personally use. While I might be able to do challenges featuring other characters, I don't usually make the time to enter them simply because I do what I love where art is concerned, as my free time is limited.

I really appreciate you taking a moment to message me about this challenge. I completely understand being busy, as I have been myself - I haven't even participated in most of the challenges here, let alone other comms!

In response to the finding images - would it be helpful if I found more images for the challenges? I pull a few to help people who may like to use the caps, but I could pull more or others if that would be helpful.

No worries about the challenges - I'll admit I do miss your icons, as they are always so beautiful - just hang in there and have a happy holiday season!

Honestly I don't think finding more images will help, as you do a great job of that already.

My issue is more of a lack of free time, and thereby spending my free time with something I enjoy. I personally don't enjoy making icons for anything but my favorite characters or episodes (one reason why I love the general theme challenges and so on, because I can do anything I want with them), and so those are the challenges I participate in.

But variety is great; not all the challenges can be Kirk/Spock/McCoy centric. Just personally, I love the challenges where I can pick what and who I want to icon - for example, the emotion or quote challenges or the BFF and fave episode challenges, those were my favorites (even if I don't get time to always participate in them).

I think this comm and your other are two of the best-run icontests out there, btw, in terms of variety and faithful reminders to enter the challenges. :)
